This is an attractive Sheaffer "Snorkel Saratoga" fountain pen made in Australia in the 1950s.  The pen measures 5.65" (143mm) capped, 4.80" (121mm) uncapped.  It is fitted with a 14ct gold open nib with a medium point and is a good smooth writer.

This is a very niceSheaffer "Touchdown Admiral" fountain pen and pencil set made in the U.S.A. in the late1940s.  The pen measures 5.15" (130mm) capped, 4.55" (114mm) uncapped.  It is fitted with a 14ct gold two-tone open nib with an extra-fine point and is a good smooth writer.  The matching propelling pencil is slightly slimmer than the pen and a couple of mm shorter. I have included a modern Sheaffer hard case with this set.
