This pen is in excellent overall condition.  It is free from any dings, scratches, etc and the gold plated parts are showing no wear or brassing.

Both cap and barrel are in excellent condition.  There is a small imprint around the lip of the cap reading "Parker Sterling Silver. Made in USA." and bearing the silver hallmark and Parker logo.

The 18ct gold broad nib is in excellent condition, highly polished and writes perfectly.  Unusually, this is a French Parker nib and will be later than the rest of the pen, which would originally have had a 14ct gold US nib.  Note that this pen, like the Parker "VP" has a triangular gripping section, for a comfortable grip and the nib unit can be rotated to an angle to suit the writer.  It is a cartridge/converter filler which can be used either with standard Parker ink cartridges or with the supplied converter for bottle filling.

This pen is freshly serviced and would make a perfectly practical every day writer as well as being a collector's item.
