The Sheaffer "Targa" was produced in the 1990s and is a modern clean-cut design with straight sides and square ends. The Targa came in a large variety of finishes and this one is in sterling silver with a pattern lines on both cap and barrel. The modern-style Sheaffer clip bears the "White Spot" symbol of quality.
The Targa has a cartridge/converter filler, the converter simply pulling out to allow standard Sheaffer ink cartridges to be used if desired.
The medium 14ct gold nib nib is stamped " Sheaffer 585 14K", and writes smoothly. This is a very attractive inset nib with a high polish and is made in the form of the earlier "Imperial" nibs.
This is a used pen and has one or two very small marks, though nothing of significance. It has a great appearance. Note however, this is a silver pen and will tarnish if you don't look after it!
