This Parker Victory Mk IV fountain pen is in very good condition.  There are no marks, scratches etc. on the plastic parts and the gold plated clip and cap band are showing very minor signs of brassing only.  This pen has an excellent appearance.

The Mk IV Victory was really the last of the Victory pens to have a different appearance to the other Parker models. It has a distinctive tapered pocket clip and a handsome double cap band.  This pen is a button-filler, and in common with the Parker Duofold "AF", the pen has an aluminium filler button, set in an aluminium socket under the blind cap. The filler button on the end of the barrel compresses the rubber ink sac via an internal pressure bar

The 14ct gold nib nib is stamped " Parker Duofold 14K Pen N", and writes smoothly.  This is a very attractive nib with a high polish. The tip is medium oblique with an italic profile. This is a left-hand oblique, i.e. when viewed from above, the tip slopes down to the left. This is the most common type of oblique nib and suits most oblique writers, whether they are right or left handed. It requires the pen to be rotated slightly to the left while writing. It is a good smooth writer and produces an attractive italic script. Note that this nib writes a good deal more broadly than a standard medium nib.

This pen has been fully serviced and fitted with a new ink sac.  It is perfectly serviceable and is ready for many years of reliable service.
