This pen is in excellent overall condition.  It is free from any dings, scratches, etc and the gold plated parts are showing no wear or brassing.  

Both cap and barrel are in excellent condition.  There is a small imprint around the lip of the cap reading "Parker Made In France".   

The 14ct gold nib is in excellent condition, highly polished and writes perfectly.  Note that this pen, like the Parker "VP" has a triangular gripping section, for a comfortable grip and the nib unit can be rotated to an angle to suit the writer.  It is a cartridge/converter filler which can be used either with standard Parker ink cartridges or with the supplied converter for bottle filling.
