This set is in excellent overall condition. It is free from any dings, scratches, etc and the gold plated parts are showing no wear or brassing. This is one of the later type Parker 75s, having the later-type gripping section and screw action converter. The fountain pen and ballpoint are both date coded 1990.
The 14ct gold nib is in excellent condition, however it has been rather inexpertly re-ground to a broad R/H oblique italic. As received, it was an awful writer, however after smoothing the tip, it now writes well and produces a very sharp italic script. Right hand obliques are not common and require the pen to be rotated slightly to the right - not the left as is more common. It could have an advantage for some left-handed writers and it certainly has a distinctive script.
The pen is a cartridge/converter filler which can be used either with standard Parker ink cartridges or with the supplied converter for bottle filling.

This set is freshly serviced and would make a perfectly practical every day writer as well as being a collector's item.
