Condition:

The "Demi" has been a part of the Parker 51 line practically from the beginning and was originally intended as a ladies pen, being slightly shorter and slimmer than the full-size pen.  In fact it proved popular with both men and women and many people found it to be an ideal size.  It is by no means a tiny pen and is about 10 mm shorter than the Mk I pens and only about 2mm shorter than the later Mk III pens.

This Parker 51 demi is in good condition throughout.  There are no marks on the plastic barrel and the lustraloy cap is free from dings or scratches. 

This pen has a 14ct gold Parker nib with an extra-fine tip.  It is in excellent condition and is a good smooth writer.  This nib is probably best suited to small handwriting.

Parker 51s are generally reckoned to be one of the most dependable pens ever made.  This pen has had a full strip-down service and is ready for many years of reliable service.
