The Prelude is the mainstay of the Sheaffer mid-price model range, coming in a range of different finishes.  The 9135 is finished in a pearlescent blue, called "Blue Shimmer". 

The medium stainless steel nib is simply stamped " SHEAFFER", it is a quality nib with a hard-wearing iridium tip.  They are good smooth writers and well suited to regular heavy use.  Note that we also stock fine and broad nibs - please contact us for details.

The ballpoint is the twist-cap variety and uses standard Sheaffer refills.

This pen has a cartridge/converter filler, allowing standard Sheaffer "classic" cartridges to be used, alternatively it can be bottle filled using the twist-action converter, included.
