The Pelikan Series 400 ballpoint is designed to match the M400 fountain pen, it has a glossy black barrel and a red/black striped cap with gold plated trim.  It has a push-button mechanism and uses the "International" refills as used in Parker ballpoints. 

Although intended as a partner for the M400 fountain pens, this ballpoint is also a good match for the M600 as an alternative to the push-cap design of the Series 600 ballpoint.
