The Pelikan Pura has a solid aluminium cap and barrel in a very striking modern design.  The aluminium has a satin finish, decorated with bright polished details.  This ballpoint has the satin panels finished in anodised orange.

The ballpoint is a twist-cap variety and uses the "international" (Parker-style) refills.  A medium black cartridge is included.

The pen comes in a gift box and includes a hard-bound journal, measuring approximately 3.7" / 94 mm wide by 5.0" / 128 mm high.  The journal has an elastic ring to hold the pen.
