The Montegrappa Reminiscence is a striking pen in solid sterling silver, plated with gold.  Both cap and barrel have an octagonal section decorated with a beautiful geometric zigzag pattern "Montegrappa Greek Fretwork".  This pen is in perfect condition throughout.

The heavy silver cap is engraved "925 Italy 1055VI" and has a curved gold plated silver clip with a roller end. This is a screw-on cap.

The pen has a super two-colour nib in 750 (18ct) gold, over-plated with silver to give this striking effect.  The nib imprint reads "Montegrappa Italy F 750".  This is a very handsome nib indeed!

The bottom of the barrel is threaded to allow the cap to be securely posted - quite a nice touch.

This pen is a cartridge filler and can either be bottle filled using the converter (included) or this simply pulls out to allow cartridges to be inserted. It uses the standard "universal" cartridges and will accommodate either the long or short varieties.

The pen comes in its original magnificent wooden box, complete with a hard-back book about the Montegrappa company and featuring the Reminiscence and other high-class models.

A soft velvet pen pouch is also included.
