This very handsome Pelikan pen is finished in glossy black with gold plated trim. It is a super quality pen and a pleasure to own and use.  This pen really is in "inked mint" condition - it has had a very little use and in all respects it is as new.

The Souverän 600, more often known as the "M 600" is a traditional piston-filler, it is not a cartridge pen and must be filled from a bottle. The advantage of this is a large ink capacity compared to most modern pens. The filling mechanism is operated by twisting the black knob on the end of the barrel.

The nib is extremely attractive in itself and is made from solid 14ct gold, over-plated with rhodium, giving the two-colour effect. It bears the Pelikan logo and the imprint "14c - 585". It has a medium point.

The superb writing performance of these pens is almost legendary and they have a reputation for durability. This pen is complete with the original Pelikan presentation case, outer sleeve and papers.
