The Cross "Medalist Townsend Collection" is a current model and is bigger and chunkier than the normal Medalist model.  It is a heavy pen with a metal cap and barrel finished in bright chrome plate with 23ct gold plated trim. This pen has a 23ct gold plated steel nib and is like new.

This pen is a cartridge/converter filler and uses Cross cartridges.
