This new Caran d'Ache Léman fountain pen has a metal cap and barrel, finished in a deep, glossy "ebony black" laquer.  The bright trim is rhodium plated.  The broad band on the barrel bears the "Caran d'Ache" name and the "Cda" logo appears on top of the cap.  This is a very handsome pen with a substantial feel - super quality.  Each pen is factory sealed and marked "Open only after sale".

The Caran d'Ache Léman is a cartridge/converter filler and accepts the "universal" cartridges.  A screw-action converter is also included.  The medium nib is in solid 18ct gold, plated with rhodium.  It is attractively patterned and has the "Cda" logo and the marking "18c - 750".  This is a lovely quality nib.
