Made in England, this Parker 45 is finished in burgundy throughout, trimmed in chrome plate. Parker 45s come with either push caps or screw caps. This one has a screw cap, and has a long chrome plated clip. The cap has an imprint reading "PARKER MADE IN ENGLAND".
Although claiming to be a fine nib (there is an 'F' on the nib underside), it seems almost a medium nib, hence the description on the previous page of fine/medium. It has a new Parker Quink converter (or 'refillable ink cartridge' as Parker calls it). This converter can be pulled out and conventional cartridges inserted if preferred. Parker 45s are made so that the nib unit can be easily unscrewed and a nib of other characteristics used.
This pen has been serviced and cleaned, and a new cartridge converter fitted.
