This is an attractive lever filling pen in very good condition finished in brown striations, with a translucent ink view section. The barrel has a deep and clear imprint reading: "W.A.SHEAFFER PEN CO. FORT MADISON ,IOWA,U.S.A. PATENTED IN U.S.A.". The matching cap has a medium gold plated cap band, which is showing some slight loss of plating, and a wrap-over, or military, short clip. The clip has lost some plating on the edges. The cap features Sheaffer's white spot, but unusually not on the clip, but a little below it.

The pen is fitted with a fine Sheaffer Lifetime nib, clearly stamped "SHEAFFER'S LIFETIME REG.U.S.PAT.OFF. MADE IN U.S.A.". The ink sac has been replaced, and is ready for your use of for your collection.
