This Parker 17 Super fountain pen is in excellent condition throughout. There are no marks or blemishes and the gold plated parts are free from wear or brassing.
The Parker 17 range was introduced in 1962 with both the standard and super versions having a short cropped open nib. This was superseded in 1964 by the hooded nib as on this example. The pen has a slip-on cap with a broad cap band. The bottom of the barrel is also decorated with a jewelled tassie.
The barrel imprint reads "Parker 17. Made in England". The 14 ct gold nib is on the fine side of medium and is in excellent condition, it is a good smooth writer. This pen appears to have seen little if any use.
The pen is freshly serviced and ready for years of reliable service. The original card box and instructions are included.
